About Focus on the Arts
History Focus on the Arts was established in 1994, following a very successful Festival promoted by a consortium drawn from Swanley, Hextable and Wilmington schools in the Spring of that year, to co-ordinate the artistic activities across the North West Kent area. It has continued to provide expert tuition and performance opportunities, for both children and adults, across a wide range of art forms, including - Dance, Drama, Music, Visual Arts, Stage Design, Backstage Skills, Creative Writing, Costume Design and Photography.
